Wedding Weekend Bridal Outfits

From the moment I got engaged I started scouring online for bridal outfits. When it comes to buying bridal outfits, I highly recommend shopping early, or frequently, to look out for deals, especially on places like Poshmark. You’re only going to be wearing these outfits once (hopefully).

Over the course of a year I had collected so many bridal outfits and couldn’t wait to wear them all. However, there are a few things I didn’t end up wearing because I was having so much fun and didn’t do as many outfit changes as I thought I was going to. There’s a lot to get through, so let’s just dive in!

Thursday

Event: Ella Bliss Nail Salon for some girl time

Attire: Black biker shorts, white crop top, Wildfox Regan Bride Zip-Up Hoodie

Event: Girls Dinner

Attire: Self Portrait Petal Monochrome Lace Mini Dress – I snagged this dress on Poshmark after lusting after it last holiday season. It’s probably one of my favorite pieces I’ve ever owned.  Plus, POCKETS!

I had a white top I was planning on wearing Thursday night for drinks after dinner but ended up staying in my dress. Very happy with this choice.

Friday

Event: Rooftop Pool

Attire: Blue Aerie one-piece bathing suit (we’ll call this my something blue for the wedding) and a white cover-up from T.J. Maxx

Event: Rehearsal Dinner

Attire: Badgley Mischka dress – Unfortunately I cannot find this dress anywhere online so I don’t know the exact name. I found this dress at Nordstrom Rack and after a few alterations it fit like a charm. I loved the floral appliqué detail, the beaded collar and the loose fit.

Saturday

Event: Catching some ZZZZZZs

Attire: Bride nightgown

Nicole + Jacob's Wedding

Event: Getting hitched

Attire: Marchesa Notte Glitter Tulle Sweetheart Illusion Gown – I felt like an absolute princess on my wedding day. I never thought I wanted to feel like a princess, but I did. My wedding dress was a combination of everything I ever wanted–sleeves, a sweetheart neckline, flowers, stars and glitter. I’m planning on doing an in-depth post on my dress, but I will say that I do not regret ordering my dress online. While I didn’t get a big SYTTD moment, I felt amazing on my wedding day and that’s what counts.

I wore the Sam Edelman Patti Sandal all weekend. I collect these heels like Pokémon because they are the most comfortable heel I’ve ever worn. I wore the black on Thursday (currently on sale for $65), the white on Friday and the gold on Saturday. I also own them in rose gold and wore them for our engagement shoot. (I found the nude on sale for $33 just for fun).

I debated a veil for a long time and am so happy I decided to get one. My veil is by Sara Gabriel and I got it from a&bé Denver. If you too buy a dress online, go into a bridal shop to get your veil or accessories. While I was only there for about 15 minutes, it still felt special.

I had a reception dress by Dress the Population that I was going to change into, but then this happened:

Sunday

Event: Very hungover brunch

Attire: Wildfox Just Married Oversized Sweater

That’s everything! I loved all of my outfits so much and wish that I could wear them all over again. When it comes to shopping, I’d also recommend not to stress about finding everything all at once. Collect pieces as you go and it will all come together as time goes on. Be patient and hold out for what you want. Also, enlist your friends and family to keep an eye out as well if you’re looking for something specific. Happy shopping!
