If you’re anything like me, you thrive on procrastination. It’s more than a thrill, it’s a skill. Which is why I still have no idea what appetizer I’m bringing to Thanksgiving (and probably don’t have the appropriate dish to cook it in), but at least I have an outfit!
I’ve been on the hunt for a good long-sleeve dress for awhile and finally found one I like but sadly, it’s already sold out from Gap. However, I did some digging and found some at Macy’s that are SO CUTE, perfect for Thanksgiving and have plenty of stretch.
Macy’s already has an early Black Friday sale on a lot of their items. If you’re worried about it getting to you in time, check here to see if you’re area offers same-day delivery. If not, you can always pick up in store. You can select two-day delivery so if you hop on the sale by Monday, it can get to you by Wednesday.
Here are dresses you can comfortably lounge in, because otherwise, we all know that there is a singular family truth that binds us:
I’m pairing my dress with a layered gold necklace, black belt (which will probably come off right before pie) and some black heeled booties:
Get the look:
Extra 20% off code: SCORE = $72. This dress is nearly identical to the one I am wearing, just with a high-low hem. Blessed is the stretchy waist.
Extra 20% off code: SCORE = $77.84. I love the flirty tiers and length on this dress. Even Grandma will be impressed.
Extra 20% off code: SCORE = $32. Pair this jacket with an edgy moto jacket to keep it looking fresh. This dress will easily transition into spring/summer with gladiators and a sun hat.
Extra 20% off code: SCORE = $59. I love the contrast between the traditional cut and fun cheetah print on this dress. The open back keeps it from looking like there’s too much fabric (really struggling not to add this one to my cart).
This stunner is already on Black Friday special for $83. I love the little shoulder pop and think the v-neck is just enough for a family or friendsgiving gathering.
While this dress isn’t on sale, it’s already coming in at a cool $60. The eyelet lace trim on the neck adds a fun twist against the floral print. I’d love to see this dress with a pretty braided updo.
Those are all of my dress picks. Since a lot of these dresses have a lot of print, don’t be afraid to break it up with a belt, sweater or jacket. Layering mixed metals or edgier jewelry against a floral print will keep your look on trend. And as always with Macy’s, throw in a beauty item (lipgloss or a little travel-size item) for free shipping!
