Best Value Holiday Sets

Bolt Blogs Holiday Gift Guide

If you’re not buying value sets, you’re not doing the holidays right. Holiday value sets and kits are the best way to 1. stock up on your favorites and get free bonus product (hello Bumble & Bumble sets) as well as 2. gift products.

I rounded up my Top 5 picks for the best value sets in each category so you can find the perfect gift for your family, friends and let’s be honest – yourself. PRO TIP: Make sure you are splitting up those sets to really stretch their value! Their great for stocking stuffers as well as those, “whoops-I-didn’t-get-you-a-gift” presents.

I’ll start by saying I love a good texturizing spray. My three favorites are from Amika, Drybar and Bumble & Bumble. You can see a comparison of the three here, all of which are included in one of the value sets below:

Amika Girls, Girls, Girls Kit ($50): Here you’re getting a free Volume Powder Spray. If you haven’t smelled Amika products before, they are absolutely delicious!

Drybar Full Size Faves ($49): You’re saving $23 (essentially a free Prep Rally). Detox is the best dry shampoo out there so if you’re new to Drybar or a Drybar fan, this set is a great pick.

Bumble & Bumble Happy Hairdays Volume and Texture Trio ($29): Dryspun Texture Spray alone is $31, so you’re saving $2 and getting a travel size shampoo/conditioner, so you can keep your hair happy while you travel.

Bumble & Bumble Happy Hairdays Silken and Smooth Trio ($33): If you have frizzy, dry or curly hair and haven’t tried the Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil yet, OH you NEED to get on it. It’s smoothing and taming without weighing down your hair and smells like an expensive dessert at a 5-star restaurant.

Slip Eye Mask and Pillowcase ($119): This set will save you $15 on the two. While this gift is beyond boujee, let me tell you, you’ll feel like Kris Jenner falling sleep wearing this eye mask. I have tried what seems like every eye mask out there and the Slip is by far my favorite. It is plush around your eyes, stays in place, and blocks out the light very well. Silk is great to help keep your hair from getting frizzy and prevents face “creases.” It’s a win for your hair and skin.

Philosophy Holiday Edition 6-Piece Shower Gel Set ($75 with shipping): These shower gels are normally $18/piece but are about $12 in the set. Split this set up for a great gift for everyone (Christmas Cookie is my favorite scent).

Sol de Janero Bum Bum Carnaval Magic ($38): Have you smelled this? Seriously, HAVE YOU SMELLED THIS?! This set is a great value and makes a lovely gift or is a great one to split up as a stocking stuffer.

Belif Merry Merry Moisturizers ($38): With this set, you’re getting a free sleeping mask and mini eye cream. This moisturizer is great for combo skin because it is light enough not to turn oily, but also hydrating enough that your skin won’t feel tight.

Origins Our Best of the Best ($45): Origins products are a constant staple in my skincare routine. This set is wonderful to help urge someone to get into a skincare routine, or is another great gift idea (Stocking Stuffer Idea: pair the Ginzing moisturizer and eye mask together or pair the two masks together…keep some for yourself).

First Aid Beauty Priming Paradise ($28): This moisturizer is a dream for the winter – it adds glow, hydration and preps your skin for makeup.

Becca x Chrissy Glow Kitchen Kit ($44): Something about Limited Edited makeup makes it exciting. This set looks like it will cater best to medium-deep skin tones, but I think you could use the shades on your eyes if you’re fair.

Fresh Sugar Jetsetter Set ($45): Fresh lip balms are great for those who like color but don’t like lipstick. How cute would one of these be on a place setting for the ladies at a holiday party?

Jouer Rose Gold Collection ($25): This 3-piece set is a STEAL for what you’re getting. I think the rose gold tones are flattering on every skin tone, so this set is a huge makeup win.

Too Faced Peaches & Dreams Set ($52): This set is sold out on Sephora but still available at Ulta. The face palette alone is normally $42, so for $10 more you’re getting a lipgloss and eyeshadow palette.

Physicians Formula Minis Essentials ($15): Physicians Formula is probably my favorite drugstore brand. This super-affordable set includes everything you need to make a great, classic holiday look.
