I’ve always seen Fabletics floating around the internet but never really trusted them. I didn’t understand the membership process, I didn’t understand why items sold out so quickly and generally, I’m a little skeptical of a celebrity brand.
Before we moved, I took a final shopping trip to Oakbrook Center in Illinois with my mama when I saw Fabletics had a store front. I didn’t know they had any retail stores and was curious, so I popped inside. The woman who helped me was very nice and helpful without being pushy. I asked her questions and really appreciated her honesty. I told her I wanted something that would suck me in, without feeling constricted. She pointed me in the direction of their high waisted leggings as well as their PowerHold leggings. I entered the fitting room doubtful and emerged from the store a convert.
I asked you all on Instagram if you wanted to see a try-on haul and got an overwhelming yes, so here we are! Leave me any questions or your own Fabletics thoughts down below!
High-Waisted Foldover Leggings: If you’ve been following me for awhile now, you know that I SWEAR BY the Zella Live In leggings from Nordstrom (I have 5 pairs. It’s serious). These leggings are slightly thinner than the Zella, but they are not see through by any means. They’re a soft, lighter material, great for working out.
Mesh PowerHold Capris: Out of the two leggings, these are my favorite. I love the mesh detailing as well as the phone pocket. This material thickness is more similar to the Zella leggings. I love how compressed my stomach feels without being uncomfortable. I’m going to keep my eye out for these in black and if I see them, I will be purchasing.
Tank top: Unfortunately this tank top is no longer available but I linked a similar tied tank here and muscle tank here. I love how soft and stretchy the material is.
Seamless Sports Bra: The linked bra is the exact same, just a different criss-cross design. Sports bras are something I don’t spend money on and normally get them from Target, exclusively when they’re on sale. I decided to go for this one, as the saleswoman said she wears them as her daily bra with thicker shirts and sweaters. It has a scoop front and removable padding, but most of all, a very comfortable underbust band.
As far as washing goes, I wash all of my athletic apparel on delicate and hang dry (I actually do this for most of my clothes, since I think it helps them last longer). These items washed up beautifully the first time. I can’t say how they’ll hold up over time at this point, but so far, everything seems good.
I can’t speak to the membership because I did not sign up for it at this time. The membership gets you deal pricing. Here is my understanding of the membership:
- You pay a monthly fee IF you do not make a purchase each month OR if you do not log in and indicate that you will not be making a purchase that month
- If you DO NOT purchase and item or log in to opt out for that month, you are charged your membership fee, but that fee can be applied toward a purchase at a later date.
So tell me – have you tried Fabletics? What are your thoughts? I’d love to hear!

Thanks, Selena! Glad it was helpful!
I didn’t know they had stores! I’ve felt the same way–always intrigued but didn’t want to go through the membership process and purchase every month. Great post 🙂 I will have to go find a store now ha!
