Best Skincare for Sensitive, Combination Skin

Today I wanted to share with you a quick post about how I’ve worked on clearing up my winter skin. I’ve been struggling with very unbalanced skin the last few months and finally feel like I have it under control. My skin was dry and flaky but still producing a lot of oil. With a new facial oil cocktail and some gentle products, I’m happier with my skin now than I’ve been in awhile. This isn’t my full routine (my medicine cabinet is actually embarrassing), but these are great products to add if you need to mix things up.

Ole Henriksen Truth Serum and Ole Henriksen Pure Truth Oil: I first tried this serum back in July from Influenster and it has been a staple in my skincare routine ever since. It really plumps the skin and adds an extra boost of moisture. To help with the extremely dry patches I was experiencing, I started mixing in a drop or two of the oil, which smells like Pez candy. The oil absorbs beautifully into the skin and plays well under foundation.

e.l.f. Exfoliating Scrub: This scrub reminds me of Lush’s Let the Good Times Roll. It’s an extremely gently exfoliant that doesn’t dry you out, perfect for sensitive skin.

Origins Checks and Balances Face Wash: I use this face wash to help when I’m producing more oil, especially around that time of the month. It does leave your face feeling a little tight, but your skin feels super clean after.

NIP+FAB No Needle Fix Eye: If you’re in the UK, you’re in luck and can purchase this eye gel. I was kindly sent this from NIP+FAB and have noticed a considerable difference in the one rather deep-set wrinkle I have under each eye (I’m not gentle enough when I put in my contacts). Since I don’t know where to purchase this in the US, I’m afraid to run out. In the meantime, it’s fabulous.

No7 Early Defence Night Cream: This is my second night cream from No7 and it is just lovely. It feels so luxurious, but with a mid-range price point, you don’t have to feel guilty about taking care of your skin. It’s lightweight but extremely hydrating, perfect for those who want a do-it-all nighttime moisturizer.
