Happy first favorites of 2017! I had a great month with some all-new products (not to the world, just me), so let’s dive in:
Origins Checks and Balances Face Wash: This face wash is phenomenal. My skin has been breakout prone lately and I really think this has helped. It makes your skin feel super clean without drying the skin. When I use this in the shower, I let it sit on my skin as a mask.
Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer: This stuff is NO JOKE! It makes your skin smell like a day at the beach and has a beautiful finish on the skin. It is a pretty neutral bronzer, a slight warmth if anything, and so far has played well with my foundations and moisturizers.
Nars Blush – Goulue: Like Orgasm, this blush has a lot of shimmer, but it feels a bit more refined. Goulue reminds me of Orgam’s rosier, slightly classier older sister.
Green People Quinoa & Prebiotics Deodorant: I’ve been wanting to use a natural deodorant for awhile now but have been very skeptical as to how effective they are. I was sent this one to test out and I was certainly proved wrong. Keep in mind, this is not an anti-perspirant, so if you normally perspire, this won’t help. I like the rollerball a lot, plus it’s lightweight and fast drying. I love the scent, it’s very fresh and somewhat herbal. While it does cost more than my normal deodorant, I’m super happy with this product and will continue to repurchase, while trying out some of their other scents. Side note: I also am using the shower gel, which I like, but wouldn’t repurchase because I don’t see the value as much in an organic shower gel.
e.l.f. Beautifully Precise Smudge Brush: If you smoke out your lower lash line, you NEED this brush. The tip does a perfect job at placing the color and the bristles are nice and soft for really blending out the color. Big win.
Excuse my dirty brush…it gets used every morning.
NIP+FAB No Needle Fix – Eye: This eye serum/gel has worked wonders on my under-eye area. Over the last year I’ve started to develop my first deep-set wrinkle under my eyes. I honestly think it’s from years of not being gentle enough while putting in my contacts, so I’m trying to get better at that. Anyway, I started using this product for a few weeks and then stopped to switch over to a sample eye cream I wanted to finish. By the second day, I noticed a difference under my eyes and realized it was because this product was missing.
Now that I’ve hyped this up, the problem is that I can’t find a link to this product anywhere. I’ve contacted NIP+FAB and am working on it. In the meantime, there is a face serum in this line so if you want you can give that a whirl!
Great favorites.
