Wet ‘n Wild PhotoFocus Setting Spray Review

Today I’m bringing you a quick review on the Wet ‘n Wild PhotoFocus Setting Spray ($5). Tati from GlamLifeGuru recommended this, so I thought I’d give it a whirl when I ran out of my Urban Decay All Nighter.

I used the whole bottle, quite reluctantly, so I’ll keep this short – this one is a pass. It has a grape scent, almost like grape medicine, so that was an automatic no. The mist is not as fine as the Urban Decay so I found that if I neglected to hold the bottle far enough away from my face, there would be visible wet spots. This setting spray didn’t do anything as far as keeping my makeup matte. If anything I felt like it added a glow.

After two days of using this, I immediately ordered the All Nighter ($31). Side note: have you seen the new packaging? Click HERE to check it out!

If you do want something from the drugstore, go for the L’Oréal Infallible Pro-Mist & Fix Spray ($14). I’ve used 2-3 bottles of this stuff and it’s great. Click HERE to grab the L’Oréal.

Hope this is helpful when you’re shopping for a setting spray at the drugstore!

I think it’ll totally work if you like a glow, just didn’t keep me matte enough for my liking! The UD one is the best though!!

I’ve tried this before and I hated it, I thought I was the only one that didn’t like it so it’s good to know that I’m not.

Hello, fellow Nicole 🙂 no, you are not alone! Don’t see how so many like it! But glad it works for them

I didn’t even notice that you were a fellow Nicole, don’t know how I missed that. But yes, it’s great that it works for them but I used the whole bottle and just couldn’t get myself to like it.

Yes, me too! Even though it was only a few dollars I was like, “I’m finishing this darn thing!”

Yes, that’s the way I’m with most products, unless I really despise it and just can’t get myself to finish it up.

I also find that it leaves spots if you spray too closely but if you keep a good distance and mist it it does lock my makeup down great. They make a matte photofocus setting spray, never had a problem with glow!
