Natural glow: Swatches & Review New e.l.f. Products

Happy Monday! I hope that all of you had a great weekend. This weekend, the guy and I did some shopping, which is always fun. He had his first experience in H&M AND Nordstrom, so I would definitely say this weekend was a success. I also stopped into the new Sephora on Michigan Ave and needless to say, it’s beautiful.

Today is a little bittersweet because I am starting my 3rd 100 Day No-Buy. You can read about my 1st here (ah that was in 2014) and my 2nd one here. I’ll miss the VIB sale *tear* but this is for the best. After moving into a new place, I definitely want to save some money and know this is how to do it with my shopping habits.

I wanted to review some recent products e.l.f. kindly sent my way, so let’s swatch:

I’ve had some hits and misses in my e.l.f. goodies, but this package was a 100% win-ish. The only issue I had was with the smudge pot in Wine Not, but I think this one might have just been a bad pot. I’ve had 5 or so of these pots, all without issue. I think this one might have just been a little older because it wasn’t as creamy. Not a huge deal, just something I’d never encountered before with these.

Next up, I was super excited to have the other two shades of the Beautifully Bare Lipstick. I already have Touch of Berry, a gorgeous deep berry color. Below are Touch of Pink and Touch of Nude. Touch of Nude is a little too brown for me, but perfect mixed with the pink.

Now, say hello to this beauty. I’ve been meaning to pick up the all matte eyeshadow palette, but it’s either sold out or I forget to grab it when I’m at the store. The Smoky Palette was overall “meh” for me, but this palette only had one miss.

I was a little disappointed with the 5th shade in from the lightest but overall, nothing that would stop me from recommending this.

Here’s a picture from my Insta Story wearing the matte eyeshadows, and showing me in my natural habitat. These shadows are a DREAM to blend. My highlight is a liquid highlight, topped with the mineral pearls below and ColourPop’s Spoon on top.

The kabuki brush is obviously great, total e.l.f. staple. They know how to make brushes. Let me know what your favorite e.l.f. products are and what I should add to my list over the next 100 Days!
