Kaplan M.D. Daily Regimen Starter Kit Review

Today I posted my first Instagram Story with me talking. I have to admit, I was very nervous. I don’t know how YouTubers do it. I love talking but the idea of talking to the Internet is kind of scary. Anyway, if you want to see a lot of the products I’m talking about here in action, head on over to my Instagram and watch my story to check it out!

Kaplan MD kindly sent me this set to try since they know I’m do a decent amount of traveling/weekend trips. The Daily Regimen Starter Kit comes with 5 products to try, all a generous travel size, for only $25. This would make a great gift or it’s perfect to try it out if you’re new to the brand. Some Kaplan MD products are sold at Sephora too.

Purifying Foam Cleanser: This cleanser is nice, although very standard. I normally don’t spend a lot on cleansers like I do other skincare items, so the full size on this would be a pass for me.

Cellular Rejuvenating Concentrate: 50% Hyaluronic Acid, you have my attention. If you don’t have Hyaluronic Acid in your skincare routine, you are depriving your skin of all sorts of moisture. It absorbs into the skin beautifully so it doesn’t feel like you have a lot of layers on once you go in with a night cream.

Daily Moisturizer SPF 30: This moisturizer is nice although I probably wouldn’t repurchase it in a full size. I do like the extra bit of SPF though in this one so if that’s a concern of yours, you might be intrigued.

Clarifying Toner: YES! I’ve always been interested in a spray toner but haven’t used one yet. This one has me sold. I will most likely purchase this when I am out of the travel size. I really feel like this tightens up my pores without drying out my skin. Big thumbs up.

Night Replenishment Concentrate: The formula for this products is similar to that of a gel moisturizer but it takes a little longer to sink into the skin. I haven’t been using this product long enough to see any huge miracles yet, but so far it’s very nice. My skin doesn’t feel greasy in the morning despite this being a very, as it’s named, concentrated product. I would probably recommend this product for more mature skin based on the ingredients and it’s wrinkle-fighting ingredients.

The products have a clean scent, nothing overly fragranced like some expensive skincare. Overall, I think this kit is very nice and has some definite standouts. It all just depends what you like to splurge on for skincare and what your concerns are. Don’t forget to check out my Instagram and please ask away if you have any questions! xoxo
