It’s no secret that I probably love skincare more than makeup, so I was very excited for this VoxBox from Influenster! I’ve tried some Ole Henriksen samples before with my Sephora orders but haven’t had the chance to use them consistently to really see their full potential. Let’s check it out:
Truth Serum Vitamin C Collagen Booster: Vitamin C is my favorite ingredient for skincare. From the scent to the glow, I really notice a different when I have Vitamin C in my skincare (I’ve used a lot of Vitamin C products from The Body Shop). This serum is fantastic. It absorbs into the skin very quickly and leaves the skin slightly tacky. I use it as a moisturizer/primer before my CC Cream in the morning and it goes under my nighttime moisturizer in the evening. If you’re looking for a new serum, I can already say this gets a big gold star.
POWER Bright: This treatment was nice, but I don’t know if it’s something I’d repurchase. A pack of 6 is $55, which is about $9 per treatment. This 3-step treatment has a polishing mask, a concentrate, and a melting cleanser as the finishing step. While my skin did feel nice after, it was a bit high maintenance to have 3 steps, even for me.
Cleansing Sponges: If you like cleansing sponges, I’m sure you’ll like these. Personally, I just prefer a good old fashioned wash cloth. I think it gives you just as much grit and also a larger surface.
Sheer Transformation: This moisturizer is great! It is very thin and light but still offers lasting hydration. The only negative is that it comes in a jar, so just be sure your hands are clean.
