June Favorites 2016 & Meeting Emily Noel

I cannot believe today is the last day of June. June was a crazy month and July doesn’t look like it’s slowing down! This month my boyfriend headed over my way from Iowa a few times, we had a family wedding in Kentucky (picture a Pinterest-inspired outdoor chic wedding but better), and I met Emily from Beauty Broadcast over on YouTube!

Emily was so sweet and it was great to meet someone that I really look up to and have followed for years. I think I was in middle school when I saw her first video!

Now for my beauty favorites this month! Pretty minimal. I’ve been in a very set makeup routine for work that I have down to about 10 minutes since I wake up so early. Anyway, here’s what we have going on:

Coconut Oil: I am OBSESSED. I don’t know why I waited as long as I did to jump on this train. I had some wax on my eyebrows I couldn’t get off so I decided to raid the kitchen pantry. I took a little of this and not only did the excess wax come right off, but my skin was super soft in the morning and I smelled like a Piña colada. Even better, I didn’t break out, which tends to happen when I wax my brows (anyone else?). This could’ve been a coincidence, but I thought it was worth noting. Feet, cuticles, lips, face…it’s my new BFF.

The Body Shop Body Butter – Grapefruit: I feel like Estée, another empties, another body butter. This grapefruit scent was so delicious and refreshing. Not for those shy of a strong scent!

Harvey Prince Hello: This perfume is so yummy. I used a smaller size of this all last summer and now I’m halfway through this one. It’s good. Give it a smell.

ColourPop – Spoon: I’ve been mixing Spoon and Stole the Show for the perfect silver/golden highlight. Spoon is a little more reflective and silvery so it’s perfect layered over a more golden highlight. It also looks amazing in the inner corners of the eye. I basically look like this when I mix the two highlighters:
