I’m not a winter person. I love a little light snow during December and a white Christmas but beyond that, no thank you. However, living in Illinois/Iowa, winter is something I have to contend with, whether or not I like it. Luckily, there are a few products that help to make the upcoming months (slightly) more bearable. Thanks to my friend Tori for inspiring me to do another one of these, you can see last year’s post here.
Lush Ocean Salt: I don’t own Ocean Salt, but my mom does and let me tell you, it’s heavenly. I’d almost say this scrub is as moisturizing as a a cream. It’s very strange, but I highly recommend you go to a Lush store if you can and try it out. This can also be used on the face.
Bath & Body Works Shea Butter Body Scrubs: I really love these scrubs, but the only problem with these is that the fragrances rotate. If you find one you like, stock up! I currently have a summer scent in this and also had Vanilla/Twilight/Forest something awhile back. It really lathers up nicely and isn’t too abrasive of a scrub.
Pacifica Body Butter: These body butters are dreamy. I linked to the holiday set which has travel sizes of all three scents, and each one is incredible. I especially love the Coconut and Blood Orange. I’m almost through a full size of the Blood Orange on top of last year’s holiday set. I think sets are nice because you can try a lot of different things or split them up into gifts too!
The Body Shop Body Butter: I’m still a little bitter with The Body Shop for discontinuing the Almond scent. The scent reminded me of my Grandma because she made a dessert with almond paste and this smelled just like it. Even so, these body butters are great. When I finish the Blood Orange I talked about above, I’ll be diving into the Wild Argan Oil Body Butter.
Look Ma, New Hands: Ask my roommates, I use a lot of lotion, especially hand cream. When I think back on what I’ve repurchased over and over again, it’s always this. I absolutely love the scent and it is so crazy moisturizing. I think what sets this lotion apart is that I really feel like it helps my nails too.
