Neutral Eyeshadow Dupes & Swatches

I was organizing my eyeshadows and came to the sad realization that I have four palettes that look virtually identical. There aren’t too many specific dupes for all of the colors in the palettes, but for the most part, you can create extremely similar looks with any one of these palettes.

Fall Eyeshadow Swatches | Bolt BlogsTarte: This Tarte Palette was LE but speaking on the quality of these shadows, they are incredible. They are so buttery and pigmented, probably my nicest shadows in my entire collection.

The taupe shade in the middle is my favorite. It is very similar to the elf Tantalizing Taupe Lid Shade (I talk more about it here)

The other palettes that are similar is another LE elf palette from the Cruella collection a few years ago. The other is the Neutrogena shadow in Mink Brown.

The colors go in order from the palette order above. I swatched the darkest and lightest shades of each so you can see a comparison

Another color that is similar are these coppery colors from the LE elf and LE Tarte in case you have one of those but not the other

Overall as you can see, you’re going to get very similar looks with all of these with a few differences. Since the elf Tantalizing Taupe and Neutrogena are the only two you can currently buy, I’ll say that between the two, I like the elf better. I think it is more pigmented and BONUS: You save $8.

So, what do you collect “multiples” of? Nude lips? Red lips? Purple shadows? Let me know!
