Buh-bye, makeup! These are all of the products I am clearing out after my 100 Day No-Buy! I talked about that yesterday and you can read more on it here. I’ve done two other purges in the past, you can find the first one here (wow my pictures have improved!) and my Spring Cleaning one here.
Get rid of products that…
Are Old: A lot of these products are plain old…old. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know yesterday I talked about the Too Faced Naked Eye Palette. Too Faced doesn’t make this palette anymore (although it’s come back at one point since I’ve been blogging) but I’ve had it for more years than I should. I held onto it because there are two colors in there that I love, but I found they’re in the Boudoir Eyes. Other products that were just too old…Coralista, Fake Up, Revlon Cream blush
You Don’t Like: Please tell me I am not the only person that holds on to products they don’t like? I really Don’t like the CVS self tanner (the smell was 10x worse than the Jergens version) and yet it still sat on my nightstand. Time to go. Also, I really don’t like the Mint eos balm, but I still kept it in my backpack. Garbage!
Questionable: If there’s an unpleasant scent or the coloring is off, pitch it. The Body Shop Aloe lip balm was pretty discolored when it came out of the tube, so just to be safe, in the garbage it went. I’d definitely repurchase for the winter months though.
Pushed to the bottom of your makeup bag: Some products just don’t get used as much as others. Be honest with yourself. I figured if something here didn’t get used for almost 1/3 of the year, I probably won’t miss it the other 2/3.
That’s all for now, I don’t want this to go on for too long. Let me know if you have questions about other things! xoxo
great post! it’s so important to get rid of stuff you don’t use.. it makes you appreciate so much more what you have and makes everything more fun and organized! 🙂

Yes totally! Agreed 🙂
I always end up hanging on to things for waaay longer than I should be, even if I don’t like them! I did a giant makeup, nail polish, and haircare purge in April when I was preparing to move but I think I’m overdue for another one. You got rid of a decent amount of stuff you should be proud 🙂

That’s awesome! Nail Polish always seems to be the one that can easily slip through the cracks!
I never thought to blog about purging my stash but I do it all the time… Love the idea and post!

Thank you! You should do one as well!
I may!
