Shop my looks with the “Shop With Me” tab in the menu

I know it’s almost summer in Chicago because I’ve been in tanks and dresses all week. This is my first blog post in a few weeks and I’m so excited to be back with some fun summer outfits. After my tonsil surgery, which went very well, I needed a little time off. But have no fear, I have a lot of exciting content coming up, starting with these three outfits. Everything is linked below for you to shop the looks!

The stars of each of these outfits are from Tobi.com. Tobi kindly reached out and asked if I wanted to try out some new clothes. At first, I was a little scared because we’ve all had that experience online shopping. Luckily, all of these fit perfectly! As a size reference, I am a medium in all of the pieces.

I absolutely love this top. The lace details are really beautiful and the upper portion is lightly padded in case you want to go sans bra. The bottom is slightly see through, but not so much that you feel over exposed.

Shop the look: Lace Peplum Top | Jeans | Heels | Bracelet

When I tried on this romper I immediately though, “4th of July.” It’s so easy to dress up or down with either heels or sandals. It’s lightweight enough for the beach or perfect for your firework celebrations.

Shop the look: Chambray Frayed Romper | Sandals | Bag | Bracelet

This final T-Shirt dress is my favorite of the bunch. I’ve already worn this dress once this week and know it’ll be on repeat all the time this summer. The cotton is super soft and the high-low hem is great for work or just generally feeling comfortable knowing you’re not about to flash someone.

Shop the look: Pocket Tee Dress | Lipstick | Crossbody

Happy Thursday! Today I am bringing you a very exciting post on some of my favorite necklaces. I love gold jewelry with an elegant amount of shimmer. It’s amazing how a simple black tee can instantly look glam with some sparkle.

Most days I am wearing a delicate necklace like this one HERE from Katie Dean Jewelry.

This Fantasia necklace is $65 and worth every penny. I’ve received so many compliments on how pretty it is. This necklace really catches the light and is just a beautiful little bit of shimmery goodness.

Next up is my Slim Bar Pendant necklace from Bauble Bar. You can find necklaces similar to this one in all different price ranges, spanning up to this 14k gold stunner from AUrate HERE. Their jewelry is dreamy.

Last is my newest necklace, also from Bauble Bar. One of the reasons I love Bauble Bar so much is their rewards system. With a sale and my rewards I snagged this show-stopper for only $15. It’s on sale for $28 HERE. I was shocked how lightweight this necklace is and unlike some statement pieces, the elaborate design isn’t irritating on my sensitive skin. If you have sensitive skin…you know.

That’s all I have to report. Frost Yourself.

Happy National Thrift Shop day, because apparently that’s a thing! I don’t know what I’d do without my planner, especially when it comes to informing me about very important national holidays.

Quite appropriately, last weekend I was at Le Thrift in Chicago and bought a dress, so I thought I’d share!

This dress still had the tag on it from Anthropologie! There was a sale on summer clearance items, so this $88 came out to about $14. Sold.

I was unsure how to style this when I bought it, but knew that I loved it and could figure it out later. My friend I was shopping with also told me I should do it and we all need an enabling friend in our life.

I ended up layering the dress over a black dress from Target, which you can grab on sale here for less than $10. Since the lace dress is from a thrift store and I can’t link it for you, I tried to find something similar. This Free People dress is normally $88 and is on sale at Nordstrom right now for $52.80. I purchased the boots during the Anniversary Sale and absolutely love them. You can purchase them here.

If you have other ideas for how to style this dress, I’d really love to hear. Beyond this outfit, I’m stumped. Hope you all have a thrifty day!

Welcome to Wednesday, so we all know what that means. Shabby Apple was so kind and reached out to me asking if I wanted to try out one of their dresses. With wedding season coming up, shopping for some new dresses has been on my mind.

I wanted to style this dress two different ways to show how you can wear it to something like a wedding and also for a date night. PLUS it’s on clearance right now.

I paired this dress with Kate Spade earrings, nude heels, and a simple clutch. This material on this dress is so comfortable and the material has a bit of a stretch to it so you don’t feel constricted like you can in other formal dresses.

For night, slip on a leather jacket, chunky necklace, and you’re good to go. To amp up your makeup, add another coat of mascara and a little extra eyeliner.
