Casual Clothes and Weekend Wear

My typical workwear is pretty much my weekend wear, just with more makeup (sometimes). I’m very fortunate to have a casual work environment and as such, my “athleisure” wardrobe has grown. Today’s post is yet another #NSale roundup (are you sick of them yet?) showing exactly how I’d put together some work and weekend outfits. NORDSTROM SALE HACK: If you want to shop the sale but aren’t a cardmember, that’s ok! All you need is a friend who is! Go in the store, have your friend swipe their card to unlock “access” to the sale, and then you can pay with whatever form of payment you want. Win.

“Pants” aka Leggings

Zella Live In High Waist Leggings: I love these leggings because they are thick enough to wear to work. They don’t fall down and hold up beautifully.

Spanx Faux Leather Leggings: These leggings suck you in, but in the best way possible. They’re compressive, yet comfortable, and look totally awesome.

Caslon Peplum Top: This top came in a tank top version last year and this year it comes in a short sleeve. This fabric is so incredibly soft and elevates a simple tee, perfect for casual work days or running around on the weekend. It also comes in extended sizes.

Alternative Distressed Tee: I love this tee for work because it can look like a nice white tee with a blazer on, but then you can sit down at your desk, pop off your jacket and look super cool. Stars seem to be all the rage right now, so this tee is perfect.

Gibson Wrap Cardigan: While the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale might have a lot of fall clothes, sweaters are necessary in the summer for the office, restaurants, movie theater…really everywhere. This wrap can fold up as a sweater or go with the flow. It also comes in extended sizes.

B.P. Cardigan: You can’t get more basic than this $30 cardigan that comes in 6 colors.

Caslon Ruched Sleeve Sweater: While this sweater may look plan, dress it up for the office with a cute chunky necklace, or wear it on the weekends with a baseball cap.

If you missed my first #NSale post, you can find it here, detailing everything I bought from the sale!
