I’ve always loved the look of camo but for those of us who don’t wear a lot of prints, camo is an intimidating leap. I found my perfect camo jacket from Gap with some stripe details to break it up and have been loving wearing it so far this spring.
The key to camo is to keep it simple. Think blue or black jeans with a white tee and you’re good to go. I’ve found that when I wear too many accessories with my camo jacket, I can go from cute to crazy in about two seconds. If you’re accessorizing with gold and don’t like how it looks, consider rose gold to soften it all up.
Below are three categories of camo depending on your adventure levels and price point, along with two of my favorite camo pieces that I’ve been wearing and how I style them:
Gap Camo Utility Jacket – It’s selling out fast!
Old Navy Twill Field Jacket and Old Navy Plus Size Twill Field Jacket
LEVI’S Oversize Cotton Canvas Camo – Oversized and great for layering
Vintage Havana Lace-Up Camo Hoodie – A great way to wear the print as a neutral
Alternative Camo Fleece Joggers – Layer with a white tee and leather jacket
Tailgate Camo Tee – You can shop the entire Tailgate collegiate collection here (I own a million of their tees and two sweatshirts, they’re the bomb)
Z Supply The Weekender High Low Camo Sweatshirt – Can you say cozy?
Camo Tote – Only $8 and $10 to monogram
Camo Dad Hat – Protect your face in the summer!
Herschel Belt Bag – Great for vacation or festivals, also comes in 5 solid colors
Converse Camo Low Top Sneakers – Comes in 3 camo colors including pink and blue
I hope this helped give you some camo styling inspiration for your spring wardrobe!
