Some online shopping got the best of me but I think I showed some restraint. I needed a new body scrub, but then there was a BOGO 1/2 off…you know how it goes. My favorite blog posts/videos are hauls so if you enjoy them as well, let’s take a look:
The Sugar Crush scent from Soap & Glory is my absolute favorite. My mom and I both agree it smells like a vanilla margarita. I don’t know how that’d taste, but it smells delicious. The scrub isn’t quite as harsh as the last one I had from Sonia Kashuk and I’m unsure whether or not I like that yet. I love the body wash, which has a great lather. It comes out looking like a lotion so I didn’t think it would suds up, but it does! Side note: The hand cream in this scent is awesome too. There isn’t a “wait time” to do anything after you apply it.
There was a deal on Drybar products that if you spent $30+ you would get a free travel size Detox Dry Shampoo. I recently fell in love with the dry shampoo, which is a slippery slope considering I can use a can a month (please don’t judge, I also use it for teasing). Triple Sec is great for adding some grit and texture if you have fine, slippery hair like myself. You can read more about it here. I also picked up the High Tops Hair Rollers since I seem to have lost mine since moving back home. I haven’t used them yet, but I’m sure they’re great.
I grabbed the Ulta Makeup Blending Sponge Duo after Emily from YouTube recommend it in one of her recent videos. Emily said that they are the closest sponge she has ever felt to the Beauty Blender, so for only $5/sponge, I had to give them a try. I haven’t used one yet, but I’m planning on doing a #ThursdayThrowdown of the Real Techniques and Ulta Sponges next to the Beauty Blender in an upcoming post.
Considering all of the recent launches, I’d say this was relatively reserved! xoxo
