Happy Cinco de Mayo! My favorite food? Mexican. You have quesadillas, burritos, breakfast burritos, chimichangas, and of course, margaritas. After some trial and error (trust me, there was a lot of error), I present to you the easiest lime margarita you’ll ever make:
Supplies:
- Juice glass
- Ice
- Tequila
- Triple sec
- Simply Limeade
- Optional: Salt & lime to garnish
- Fill your glass halfway with ice
- Add 1 oz of tequila
- Add .5 oz of Triple sec
- Top of the glass with Simply Limeade
- Enjoy (responsibly)!
If you want to get all fancy, salt the rim of your glass first. You can also mix your ingredients in a shaker, but that’s just another thing to wash and I’m lazy.
If my brother ever reads this I’m confident he’ll laugh, but that’s why he’s a mixologist and I’m not. If you have a taste for a margarita, this gets the job done.
Since we’re on the subject, I’ll also share my favorite salsa, the Archer Farms Mild Pineapple Peach Salsa. I put this stuff on everything – eggs, in my cottage cheese (my roommates hate that one), on hamburgers, and obviously, with chips.
I love simple drink recipes! If it takes too much effort, then I’m not gonna do it. Thanks for the share!
