L’Oreal Miss Manga & Almay Eye Makeup Remover Review

If you’ve been following me for awhile, you’ll know my Holy Grail mascara is the Covergirl Clump Crusher in Water Resistant. This mascara is the only mascara that doesn’t smudge underneath my lower lashes like most mascaras love to do on me for some reason. It holds a curl pretty well, is super black, and comes off easily!

Recently, I tried out the L’Oreal Miss Manga mascara and absolutely love it! As you can see, it gives crazy volume and with one coat looks soft and fluttery. It definitely can be built up for even more volume, but it does start to clump a little more once you get into a second and third coat. It does smudge slightly underneath my lower lashes but it’s easy to wipe away or touch up with powder. My upper lashes hold a curl ALL DAY, not easy for someone with hooded eyes.

The one problem with this mascara is that it is such a pain to try and get off. I’ve tried the Neutrogena makeup remover (not a fan of it this makeup remover in general), countless wipes, cleansers…nothing works. I thought I’d give these wipes a go, but unfortunately they didn’t work out very well.

These wipes are very greasy but don’t seem to really get you anywhere in terms of getting the mascara off. If anything, I feel like it slides black around your eyes, but mascara isn’t even really coming off. These wipes don’t irritate my eyes but leave me feeling gross and I have to cleanse twice to feel like my skin is clean.
